In Green class we planted some sunflower seeds for Geography. We watered the seeds and put them in a sunny place in our class. The sunflower seeds began to grow. We continued to water the flowers and left them in a sunny place in our room. The flowers grow taller every day. After 3 weeks we measured the flowers and here are the results. Garbhán’s sunflower measures 19cms, Anita’s measures 18 cms, Conan’s measures 17.5 cms, Sean’s 17 cms, Geraldine Foley’s measures 16.5 cms, Ben’s measures 14 cms, Felix’s, Conor’s and Linda’s measures 0 cms and had to be replanted (great work from the chairman of the Green School Comittee!!!). We will measure again in a few weeks and update you on the progress. Leave a comment and let us know who you think will win the tallest sunflower competition. By Conan.
