St. Cecilia's School

Congratulations on your Junior Cycle (L1LPs) and QQI Awards.

The progress and learning of our senior students at St. Cecilia’s is a credit to themselves, their families and their class teams.  It was a privilege to mark their success in achieving their Junior Cycle (L1LPs) for our 16 year olds and to present QQI awards for our returning students who achieved minor and major awards in a variety of subjects.

Junior Cycle (L1LPs)

The Level 1 Learning Programmes (L1LPs) in the Junior Cycle are designed for our students to focus on developing key life skills through personalised, practical, and accessible learning experiences. The programme emphasises communication, numeracy, and personal and social development, preparing students for further learning and active participation in daily life.  Our students achieved this throughout the 4 year programme and their success is a credit to their hard work and development.

QQI

QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) makes sure that the courses and qualifications offered in schools and colleges meet high standards. At St. Cecilia’s our 16+ students can work towards QQI minor and major awards, which build up to recognised qualifications that help with future learning or getting a job.

It was fantastic to welcome back our past students to recognise their progress as they built upon their Junior Cycle learning.  Congratulations to you all.
