We were blessed to honour our 2024 graduates today. The students have surpassed our expectations and we were proud to be there to see the hard work that went into to their St. Cecilia’s journey. We wish you and your families every future success and happiness.
This term in Silver class we have been focusing on printing. We have used our body parts, kitchen utensils, natural artefacts and toys to make wonderful prints. We particularly enjoyed painting our feet and printing them to make Summer flip flops!
We have been loving exploring the theme of water this term in Cream class. We made lots of lovely art work to display outside our class. We have also been on lovely trips in our local community to a pottery studio and to the bowling alley. Great fun all round!
Five star students! Navy class have been having great fun this term. We have loved exploring all things water. We have read books, listened to songs and enjoyed exploring water in the environment. We have made waterfalls and completed sentences, The highlight of this term was our tour where we headed off to five star
Blue class has a fantastic school tour to the Woodlands school. We had fun toasting marshmallows, helping to make a campfire, relaxing in hammocks, painting and watering tadpoles in the Polly tunnel. Everyone really enjoyed their school tour and had a great day!
A Splashing Time. The students in Orange class have enjoyed the theme of water, especially during our sessions in water play and through the use of sensory trays and foot spa. The students have had the opportunity to listen to stories linked to the theme and used it as inspiration for out art lessons. the
GOLD CLASS have been exploring water in the local environment. We visited a rocky beach at Streedagh to listen to the waves and throw pebbles into the sea. We met some birds that love the water at Lough Gill. they even wanted to join us for al fresco snacks! And we visited the waterfall at Glencar
Our Junior Cycle short course is concluding in Pink Class. We have been learning about Being Well, Feeling Good and Looking Great. We have done a lot of our learning using the interactive panel but were glad to get outside to feel great with our sea swim lesson in Rosses Point. We are not too
